Universal International - Logo Remake/Modernized

This was my second "remake / modernized" experiment. The famous Universal-International (I-U) logo. It asked lot of work, mostly with the 3D elements (the rotating globe) and 2D layers with the text and light effects. I re-used the same rotating earth model that I previously put in the RKO logo. Each layer, such as stars and logo font...etc were made on Procreate and Animated on Vegas Pro.
I created two different versions: One in color and the other in black and white. For the colors, I choose a dominant of blue colors, mainly based on the more recent Universal logo that debuted for the Centennial. This is one of my first projects and I'm still very proud of
