TOHOSCOPE - Logo Remake/Modernized

My full Remake/Modernized version of the Toho TohoScope logo - 2023
Just as I did with the previous Paramount logo, this project allowed me to work on two different logos in the same time:
The Tōhō logo (with his famous sun-rays effect) that I wanted to make since quite a long time now...and it's cinemascope version called "TohoScope". Even if Toho stopped to use this label around 1965, TohoScope logo still very famous and popular in pop-culture. It's sometime still used in some Toho's trailers (Shin Godzilla) and even movies like "Godzilla Final Wars" or "Always: Sunset on Third Street"
For this project I worked based on many Toho's movies from the 50s-60s such as The Mysterians, Dogora, Mothra, King Kong Vs Godzilla and Atragon
For the background of the first modernized version, I recreated Toho's modern sun-rays visible in their most recent logo as my goal is to create a modernized version of an "old" retro logo. That's also why I made two versions, with the same icons placement (like the old one, with shining stars in the blue background) and one based on the current still in use Toho logo.
As always, each layer, text, logo font, rays, stars...etc were made on Procreate and Animated on Vegas Pro.
